The Rabīʿī Readings Of Shaykh al-Islām al-Ḥājj Ibrāhīm Niasse
The Rabīʿī Readings is meant to be heard, recited, remembered, and lived in community. It is a devotional anthology for Rabīʿ al-Awwal built around the praise of the Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ and the living Mawlid tradition of Medina Baye. The collection includes classical Prophetic praise from figures such as al-ʿAbbās ibn ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib, Ḥassān ibn Thābit, Kaʿb ibn Zuhayr, Abū Ṭālib, Imām al-Būṣayrī, and ʿAbd al-Ghanī al-Nābulusī, alongside poems by Shaykh Ibrāhīm Niasse himself. It then extends into nine additional compositions from Shaykh Ibrāhīm that are recited during Rabīʿ al-Awwal and throughout the year.
