This Privacy Policy explains how Fayda Digital ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the Fayda Digital mobile application (the "App") and the faydadigital.com website (the "Site"), together the "Services."

By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide: account information (name, email, password); order and shipping information (shipping address, billing name, order details) when you purchase physical books or products; and information you provide when contacting customer support or subscribing to our newsletter.

Information collected automatically: device and usage data (device type, operating system, app version, general usage within the App); and cookies and similar technologies on the Site, used for functionality and analytics.

Payment information: in-app subscription payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) — we receive transaction and entitlement status from these platforms but do not receive or store your full payment card details for in-app purchases. Purchases made directly on the Site are processed by Stripe, Inc., which handles your payment details under its own privacy terms; Fayda Digital does not store card details on our servers.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the App and Site, including delivering purchased digital and physical content.
• To process orders, manage subscriptions, and communicate about purchases, shipping, and account activity.
• To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
• To send updates, new-release notifications, or newsletters where you have opted in.
• To maintain the security and integrity of the Services and prevent fraud.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

• With service providers who help us operate the Services, including subscription and entitlement management (RevenueCat), payment processing (Apple, Google, and Stripe), shipping and fulfillment carriers, and email/newsletter delivery.
• With Apple and Google as required to process in-app purchases and manage subscription entitlements.
• When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Fayda Digital, our users, or others.
• In connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

The App offers a free Essential tier and a paid Premium subscription, billed on a recurring basis through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscription price may vary by country or region. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and are managed through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings, not within the App directly.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing or request a copy of your data. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in Section 10.

7. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our children's Islamic books and products are intended for purchase by parents and guardians. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete it. Parents who believe their child has provided us with personal information may contact us at info@faydadigital.com.

8. International Data Transfers

Fayda Digital is based in Ghana and serves customers worldwide. Information we collect may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Ghana or other countries where we or our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
